UPDATED:

As Election Day approaches, its time to reflect back to the past 15 years. Bill Clinton”s administration brought Americans to the highest level of economic stability in decades. For the skeptics of that assessment, I dare you to compare the fiscal health of our country on Jan. 1, 2001, the end of Bill Clinton, with the fiscal health and downward spiral of Jan. 1 2008, nearing the end of George Bush.

And the Republicans distasteful envy of Clinton”s accomplishments, sought to impeach this man for lying about his zipper. His private personal actions killed no human. Today, we review an administration, whose blatant lies, have resulted in the death of approaching a quarter million men, women, and children, and tens of thousands mutilated and scarred for life.

A just published study concluded that 935 false statements ? 259 from Bush himself ? for two years after Sept. 11 were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion, and in the process led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.

I, in no way, condemn Republicans or the Republican Party. I would condemn this current administration with equal vigor if Bush was a Democrat. As a lifetime registered Democrat, I voted for the first President Bush to prove my stance.

I urge every voter to cast their ballot for the candidate that will restore honesty to the oval office; focus on all our domestic problems, resulting in a reversed direction from our pathetic current paths. And equally important is to reverse the negative world image of our beloved country.
