LAKEPORT — Celebrate the Lake County Arts Council”s new look at the Main Street Gallery”s February First Friday Fling, 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, while being entertained by the incomparable Bert Hutt.
February”s show features a wide variety of artistic talent. New in February are Diane Tembey-Stawicki, the winner of Kelseyville”s Pear Poster contest, with her work in watercolors and pastels; Allen Warren with digital, silver gelatin and color E-6 photography; Kennie Winter”s soft watercolors and George Waterstraat”s finely-turned wooden vases.
Continuing in February are the unique metal sculptures of Keith Nelson; Ray Farrow, Gail Erasmy and Margaret Choate in oils; Richard Seisser in pastels, John Eells in acrylic, Carolyn Hawley in alkyd, the collective works of the Kelseyville Art Club and Lynn Wagner”s intricately crafted bead jewelry.
The Student Gallery continues to show the work of 40 students from the Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue elementary and secondary schools and are under the instruction of Jackie Farley.
Enjoy the fine wines of Langtry Estate and Vineyards, sample finger food and meet the artist and other art lovers.
