OROVILLE — Several members of Luanne”s Gymnastics of Lakeport combined to win 20 medals during a Jan. 20 meet in Oroville.
For the boys, Chris Oubre placed third in all-around scoring (52.600) after winning the vault (9.650) and taking third in the floor exercise (8.800).
Nathan Frigge was sixth in all-around scoring (50.350). He won the floor exercise (8.900) and finished fourth both in the rings (8.800) and parallel bars (8.450).
Both Oubre and Frigge advance to the state meet March 1 in Visalia.
For the girls, Mia Martinek placed first in all-around scoring (35.700) after winning both the vault (9.500) and the balance beam (9.000).
Rayna Walker finished fifth in all-around scoring (33.550). She was second on the beam (8.825) and sixth on the uneven bars (8.400).
