LAKEPORT — The city council will meet an hour early tonight at 5 p.m. before its regular meeting for a staff presentation regarding reorganization in part of the community and economic development business plan.

At 6 p.m., a short agenda will include filing the January 2008 building permit report, approval of an application for Norcal Boat and Ski Club Region 1 to hold circle waterski races in June and September, approval of an application for Corvettes of Lake County to hold a cart show in May and approval of an application for the Lakeport Regional Chamber of Commerce for its 2008 events.

The council will receive and file a staff report regarding North Main Street Rehabilitation project, a road work project.

In a public presentation, a new community radio station will be introduced.

The council will convene as the Lakeport Redevelopment Agency to discuss approving disbursements of redevelopment tax increment pass-through payments to the affected local taxing agencies.

In council business, City Manager Jerry Gillham will discuss planning for phase II of Westside Park.

The council will discuss a proposed March 6 joint County, City of Lakeport and City of Clearlake public meeting to discuss traffic mitigation fees.
