Southshore Little League was the victim of theft and vandalism this past weekend. Chocolate candies, five and one-half pounds of licorice and Gummy Bears galore were stolen from the Snack Shoppe at Redbud Ballpark in a Sunday evening break-in.
Officers of the Clearlake Police Department are investigating the incident. Officers were on scene Monday morning taking fingerprints and collecting other evidence in the case.
The Snack Shoppe building suffered minor damage to the service window door. Southshore Little League would appreciate any donation to help with the repairs. For donation information please call Cindy Eagle at 995-1138.
