LAKEPORT — Festivities for the 44th annual Spring Regatta sailboat races begin May 2 at the Lakeport Yacht Club next to the Fifth Street boat ramp in Lakeport.
A spaghetti dinner will be served that night at a cost of $8 per person. Skippers, crew and guests are welcome to attend.
A skipper”s meeting takes place at 9:30 a.m. on May 3 at the yacht club. The first race follows at 11 a.m.
Race registration is $25 per boat except for novice sailors who will be extended a special $10 registration fee.
Following the May 3 races, a steak dinner will be served at the yacht club beginning at 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $12 per person.
The awards ceremony and banquet takes place May 4 following the final race.
