It”s good to see others noticing the Record-Bee”s inability with noteworthy front-page news. Our family was victimized by the Record-Bee”s misplaced sensationalism in 2000 of a car accident claiming the lives of three family members. The Record-Bee decided graphic pictures would show well not once, but three times during that year.
The recent photo of a local teacher arrested for DUI, having a blood alcohol level of .08 was typical of your paper”s inability of any forethought. That is the equivalent of one-and-a-half beers or less than one glass of wine. Will any employees of your newspaper be worthy of the same treatment for such hideous crime?
It”s unfortunate the incident happened to a very good teacher, coach, and asset to our community. Mr. Leiferman”s mistake was not deserving of your front-page coverage. Perhaps you may want to reevaluate what constitutes front-page news.
