Should teachers be allowed to drive drunk?
Are all the people in Lake County going nuts or what?
Now, they want to excuse a person for driving drunk and endangering everyone on the road ? including you and your children ? because his is a teacher.
Because he is a teacher, he should be held to a much higher standard. One of the best ways to teach is by example, and what he did was a very poor example. Do we want our teachers to teach our children that it is alright to drive drunk as long as you are a teacher?
He should suffer the same fines and all else that goes with driving drunk. There should be distain instead of excuse making for this or any other public employee caught driving drunk.
