PETALUMA — The combined Clear Lake/Kelseyville boys” swim team turned in a strong performance while beating St. Vincent 81-45 in a Sonoma County League meet on Thursday in Petaluma.
Guy Conger won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minutes, 12.91 seconds and the 200 freestyle in 2:02.91, and he also swam a leg on the winning Clear Lake/Kelseyville medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams, joining Connor Sullivan, Nathan Bell and George Weiss.
Other firsts went to Bell in the 100 butterfly (1:37.94), Weiss in the 100 freestyle (57.29 seconds), and Sullivan in the 100 backstroke (1:16.58).
Another first came in the 400 freestyle relay, where Thomas Esberg, Ethan Miller, Lucas Thomsen and Mason McGee topped the field.
Second-place finishes went to Weiss in the 50 freestyle, Miller in the 100 freestyle, Sullivan in the 200 freestyle, and Bell in the 200 individual medley.
The Clear Lake/Kelseyville girls dropped a 117-37 decision to St. Vincent. Top finishers, all with seconds, were Amanda Ray in the 200 freestyle, Danielle Petersen in the 100 butterfly, and Annie Gall in the 100 freestyle.
Third-place finishers were Ray in the 100 backstroke and Rachel Stanley in the 100 breaststroke.
The Clear Lake/Kelseyville team hosts Healdsburg on April 3.
