LAKEPORT — Talented keyboard musician Jim Waters will entertain at the Main Street Gallery”s April First Friday Fling. The reception for the artists will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 4 and features a wide variety of artistic talent with six new artists in the show.

Reflective of fine Native American art are Gayle Daufel”s fine pen and ink drawings. Joe Schopplein has beautifully composed work in oils. Corrine McEvers” collection of oil landscapes is further enhanced by the addition of two studies of women. John Ells” freely composed abstracts in Acrylic are food for the eye and the mind. Tom McComber”s work in “found” metal sculptures are always a surprise play on life.

Showing for the first time at the gallery is the fine jewelry of Stephnie Bero.

Continuing in the April show are Meredith Gambrel in acrylics, Pat Courtney in watercolor and acrylic, Dan Gibson in oil, Allen Warren in photography, Kennie Winter in watercolors, George Waterstrat”s work in finely turned wood and hand crafted guitars by Jack Sawatsky.

The Student Gallery will have a brand new face as it presents the works of 14 students ranging in age from 8 to 16. An artist in her own right, Pat Hopper has been working with young artists for more than 30 years.

While in the Student Gallery you can browse our ever changing merchandise in the Gallery”s Gift Shop.

To further enhance the evening festivities, the Moore Family Winery”s fine selection of wine will be poured as you sample finger food, meet the artists and mingle with other artists and art lovers.
