CLOVERDALE — Zoe Everett and Jeanine Zolczynski provided Middletown with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) win in second doubles, the Mustangs” only victory in a 4-1 loss to the Cloverdale Eagles in Coastal Mountain Conference tennis action Monday at Cloverdale.
Middletown lost the other four matches in straight sets. Will Phelps fell 6-2, 6-1 in first singles, Tyler Madsen lost 6-2, 6-0 in second singles, Tasha Gibbs fell 6-0, 6-1 in third singles, and Ben MacDonald and Chase Mannisto 6-2, 6-1 in first doubles.
Middletown hosts Clov-erdale on Friday.
