KELSEYVILLE — The Kelseyville Business Association would like to invite Lake County high school age bands to participate in its Battle of the Bands competition. Bands interested in competing can send in their CDs or schedule an appointment for one of the judges to view you live.
All applicants will be reviewed by our panel of music-industry judges and the top five will be selected to participate in the KBA”s “Kicking in the Country Battle of the Bands.” This event will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 19, on Main Street in historic downtown Kelseyville. The emphasis is on family-oriented dance music.
The top five bands will receive prizes with first place receiving $600. If you are interested in performing on stage June 19 with the opportunity to win the $600 prize, please contact the KBA”s Battle of the Bands chairman Bobby Rowe at 277-0600.
