FINLEY — “April in Paris” is the theme for an interactive fashion show of mix-and-match pieces to take with you for a weekend in Paris. This benefit luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, Earth Day, at the Big Valley Grange on Big Valley Road south of Lakeport.
Each piece of mix and match separates fits into a bag that can unfold and be worn as a jacket. Models will trade clothes and samples of these clothes will be available for those attending the luncheon to try on.
Added to this will be a lunch and live music by keyboard player Richard Peregrina and folksinger Joan Moss, one of the models for this event.
Models will be members of the grange, in all sizes, small, medium and large.
Proceeds from this event and a percentage of the clothing sales will go to support the Big Valley Grange, a non-profit, agriculturally-oriented service organization.
