LAKE COUNTY — “Youth Writes” auditions for young poets take place this week at
* Noon Saturday, April 19, at Tuscan Village in Lower Lake.
* 3 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Wild About Books in Clearlake.
* 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Calpine Geothermal Visitor”s Center in Middletown.
Lake County students ages 7-18 are invited to perform one or two original poems. Poets should arrive 20 minutes early to register.
Selected poets will be invited to read at the Lake County Land Trust”s Art and Nature Show, Saturday, May 3, at Rodman Slough Preserve.
