KELSEYVILLE ? A solo vehicle car crash resulted in major injuries for Kelseyville resident Tommy Merrill, 51.
Merrill was not wearing his seatbelt when the accident occurred. He was driving his 1993 Suzuki Sidekick eastbound on Red Hills Road west of Highway 29 at about 8 a.m. when he drifted off the road and hit a tree. That portion of the roadway is straight, the conditions were dry and it is not known why Merrill”s vehicle veered off the road. He suffered major, non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Kelseyville Fire ambulance to Sutter Lakeside Hospital. California Highway Patrol Officer Greg Baxter is investigating the incident.
