KELSEYVILLE — An early morning car wreck landed 19-year-old Kelseyville resident Anthony C. Lynnott in the hospital Monday. Lynnott was driving his 1995 Chevy Yukon westbound on Soda Bay Road toward Clark Drive at about 2:15 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the double yellow lines into the opposite lane. Conditions were dry and clear. No other vehicles were involved in the early morning accident.
The vehicle left the roadway and hit an uphill embankment. Lynnott was solo in the vehicle and not wearing a seatbelt.
The Chevy rolled, ejecting Lynnott onto the roadway. He suffered a broken pelvis and major injuries, CHP said. The Chevy landed on its wheels and continued back across the roadway, finally stopping after it hit a guardrail.
Lynnott was arrested for DUI before being taken by air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. A hospital spokesperson said Monday afternoon Lynnott was in stable condition.
