LOWER LAKE — Jonesha Beasley of Lower Lake, Anisa Green of Clear Lake and Kelsey Welton of Middletown each won three events in the varsity girls” division Wednesday during a Coastal Mountain Conference track meet at Lower Lake High School.

Upper Lake, Laytonville and Leggett Valley also took part in the competition.

Beasley won the 100-meter dash in 13.42 seconds and followed that up with firsts in the 200 (28.64) and the 400 (1 minute, 7.8 seconds). Green swept the three jumping events, winning the high jump in 4 feet, 7 inches, the long jump in 15-8, and the triple jump in 32-7. And Welton scored firsts in the 800 (2:52.65), the 1,600 (6:08.93) and the 300 low hurdles (55.21).

Other Lake County winners were Thea Olson of Middletown in the 3,200 (15:20.52), Tashee Denson of Lower Lake in the 100 low hurdles (19.19), and Darlena White of Lower Lake in the shotput (31-8 ?).

In the varsity boys” division, double-event winners were Michael Bell of Lower Lake, Myles Moffat of Middletown and Loren Jones of Lower Lake.

Bell won the 400 (54.97) and the 300 high hurdles (45.11), Moffat topped the field in the long jump (19-2) and triple jump (39-8), and Jones won the shotput (35-8 ?) and discus (109-9 ?).

Other Lake County winners were Kevin Burt of Clear Lake in the 100 (11.38), Travis Stockton of Clear Lake in the 200 (24.41), Russell Rosenthal of Middletown in the 800 (2:20.49), Chris Nance of Middletown in the 1,600 (5:02.39), Alejandro Maldonado of Middletown in the 3,200 (12:09.94), Max Gonzalez of Middletown in the 100 high hurdles (18.9), and Tyler Glazier of Clear Lake in the high jump (5-8).

Clear Lake also wont he 4×100 relay in 45.63.

JV boys

In the junior varsity boys” division, Chris Leloup of Clear Lake came away with four firsts as he notched wins in the 100 (12.32), 200 (26.06), long jump (17-5) and shotput (40-11). Luiz Guzman of Middletown owon the 400 (1:12) and discus (65-11).
