LAKEPORT — Bruno”s Shop Smart, Konocti Vista Casino, Robinson Rancheria and the Kelseyville Migrant Parent Committee invite the public to Library Park in Lakeport Sunday May 4 to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.

The day begins with the celebration of mass in Spanish at 9:30 a.m and a blessing at 10 a.m. Aztec Dancers from Sonoma State University, Ballet Folklorico Solecito, Kelseyville Primary Students and Gard Street After school Program singers will perform throughout the day, as well as DJ Jesus Tapia and the Band EL Tejon y Sus Chavalos De La Sierra.

Many varieties of food from Mexico and South America prepared by various Hispanic groups from all over Lake County will be available to buy and eat.

Family acitivites, games, and information booths will also be available.

The Cinco De Mayo raises money for scholarships for children of migrant workers. This alcohol- and tobacco-free event is free and open to the public.
