BUCKINGHAM — Members of the Tournament Players Club teed it up Monday during the annual Buckingham Cup at Buckingham Golf and Country Club.
Mike Griggs won the championship flight with a low gross round of 71 and John Berry came in second with 78. Dennis Layton was low net with 71 and Craig Kinser came in second with 72.
Rich Steenwyk won low gross honors in the first flight with 79 and Ken Kearse was low net with 65. Ed Jacobsen came in second with 67 and Bob Jolin won a three-way card-off after shooting 70.
In the second flight, Manny Mendoza had the low gross round with 84 and Joe Del Prete won low net honors with 70. Rick Tracy was the runner-up with 71. Dave Herrick came in third.
Closest-to-the-pin winners were Carl Knipping and Jack Lucich.
During a NCGA senior four-ball net qualifier on Monday, Steenwyk and Howard Hagen topped the field with 60. They will represent Buckingham in the NCGA North Valley Zone Championships on Aug. 8 at a site to be determined.
