I live in District 5. I have followed Rob Brown”s stand on many of the issues. It seemed odd to me that he would do his finger pointing at Robert Stark and boldly state that he (Stark) had not familiarized himself with the current county issues.
I would ask Brown, how is it that with his years in office, has he ignored the truly important issues by voting against them? Brown, can correct me if I am wrong, but in my opinion, his circle of “friends” seems to influence his decisions.
It is not popular with the agri-business crowd to address water and chemical use issues., but Brown may consider attending the Big Valley Watershed meetings (first Tuesday of each month 6:30 at the American Legion Hall).
Why allow expansions or changes in other areas, if it could effect Brown”s area later on? Let”s just keep the “friends” happy. Brown seems confident, but as I remember, the last election was close, very close. There are many more people in Brown”s district that do not feel represented.
