HELENA — Jason Edwards pitched four innings for the win and also homered, and Jaime Lopez went 3-for-4 as the Clear Lake Cardinals knocked off the St. Helena Saints 9-4 in the North Central League I South and regular-season finale for both of these junior varsity baseball teams on Thursday in St. Helena.
Clear Lake closes out the 2008 campaign with a 16-4 record.

On the mound, Edwards struck out two and walked one. Tyler Beets pitched the fifth and sixth innings, striking out four and walking two, and Brandon Disney worked the seventh, striking out one and walking two.
Beets drove in two of the Cardinals” runs and Dylan Rose knocked in another.
