KELSEYVILLE — Just four minutes in to Friday morning the Lake County Sheriff”s Department received a call that a stabbing occurred on Main Street in Kelseyville.
Approximately 11 people were present, according to Sheriff Rodney Mitchell. A 20-year-old man was reported to have suffered injuries consistent with knife wounds, Mitchell said.
The altercation occurred in the area of the Brick Tavern. Mitchell said there were “multiple victims and multiple witnesses.”
The weapon was not recovered during the early morning investigation. The Sheriff”s Department hopes to develop more information.
There is an active investigation under way. Anyone with information about this incident should contact the Lake County Sheriff”s Department.
