LAKEPORT — Mike Shaw hit a towering three-run home run to cap an eight-run last-inning rally, propelling CPS Country Air past Superior Seamless 11-9 in B-2 men”s softball action Wednesday night at County Park.
CPS trailed 9-3 going to its final at-bat. The team scratched out five hits and drew two walks before Shaw connected. He went 4-for-4 on the night.
Winning pitcher Dennis Price went the distance as CPS improved to 2-0 and Superior Seamless fell to 1-1.
