BERKELEY — Myles Moffat finished 18th in the boys” triple jump, the highest individual finish by a Lake County athlete entered in the North Coast Section Meet of Champions on Friday and Saturday in Berkeley.

Five county athletes and one relay team qualified for the MOC, which is the Northern California qualifier for the state meet.

The top three MOC finishers in each event advance to state and the top six earn medals.

Moffat cleared 40 feet, 9 ? inches.

Among Lake County”s other TOC qualifiers, Anisa Green of Clear Lake placed 19th in the girls” triple jump (33-5); Middletown”s Jake Clouse was 20th in the 200 meters (23.85 seconds); Middletown”s Nick Valdovinos was 23rd in the discus (118-8); and Clear Lake”s Erik Jameson failed to clear the bar during the pole vault preliminaries.

Clear Lake”s 4×100 boys” relay team finished 17th in 44.81 seconds. Team members were Kevin Burt, Seth Glazier, Travis Stockton and Armando Martinez.
