KELSEYVILLE — The annual Kelseyville High School volleyball camp sponsored by Sonoma State University takes place July 16-18 at the Kelseyville High School gym.
Sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders participate in Camp A, while ninth-, 10th-, 11th- and 12th-graders participate in Camp B.
Camp hours for Camp A are 9 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day and check-in time is 8:30 a.m. Camp hours for Camp B are 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day and check-in time is 1 p.m. The cost of both camps is $95.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 24 athletes in each group will be accepted. There will be registration at the door on the first day of camp on a space-available basis.
Campers need to bring broken-in court shoes, shorts and kneepads. Drink is optional as water and Gatorade are provided.
Minors need the signature of a parent before they can participate and medical insurance information is required.
Campers will be instructed in overhand and underhand passing techniques, spiking, blocking, serving, individual and team offensive formation, and individual and team defensive formation.
