UKIAH — The Mendocino College Women”s soccer program is preparing to host its sixth annual youth soccer camp June 16-19 in Ukiah.
The four-day camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon at Mendocino College and is offered to boys and girls between the ages of 5-13.
Mendocino College women”s soccer head coach Duncan McMartin, who holds a USSF ?A” license, will conduct the camp and will be assisted by current Mendocino College staff and players.
The youth camp is aimed at recreational players and focuses on youth player development in terms of individual skill and team strategy.
The cost of the camp is $60 and scholarships are available through the Ryan Rones Dickey Memorial Soccer Fund.
Applications can be downloaded from the Mendocino College website at www.mendocino.edu.
Campers are encouraged to sign up soon since the camp is limited to 70 players.
