Those who are concerned about the desecration of the flag should do a little research. The LGBT community chose to use the Ensign of the United States Flag. Just the Stars, as the Navy does, and add it to the Rainbow Flag.
This was not desecration of the American Flag. A study of the United States flag would not be remiss.
Serving in the military does not make one an expert. Also for your information there is a California Republic flag that the LGBT Community uses, which is the same at the one used by the State of California except it has the little rainbow in the bottom. It is quite attractive. Oh, by the way, we do have the Rainbow Flag which is recognized all over the world and was created in San Francisco by Gilbert Baker for the Pride Celebration in 1972. I hope that you may have seen it! Although I am gay man, I have also fought for the Stars and Stripes.
