“Little Women” is the heartwarming tale of a poor family of teenage girls growing up during the 1800s. It is an epic of sacrifice and hardship, love and loss, even life and death, all set against the backdrop of the Civil War.
The pageantry of this production will call for beautiful period costumes, lovely sets and a cast of 30. Although “Little Women” is not a musical, the music of the time will sweep through the show from beginning to end.
The original novel on which this adaptation by Thomas Hischak is based was written by Louisa Mae Alcott and has been required reading throughout the United States for more than a century. Amazingly, however, the story is timeless and still resonates today.
