LAKEPORT ? The always entertaining Phil Mathewson will strum his guitar at the Main Street Gallery”s First Friday Fling reception for the artists to be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 4.

July”s show features a wide variety of artistic talent with seven new artists in this month”s show. Ron Snider beautifully executes thoughtful portraits of women in oil. The front platform will feature unique metal sculpture by Don Speed. Showing her watercolors for the first time is a recent high school graduate, Meggan Young. Meggan will be enrolling in the Architectural School at San Marcos College in the fall.

Returning to the gallery are the mother-daughter duo, Bobbi and Kati Bridges, in watercolors. Gleneth Lambert”s creative flair with the camera shows in his photos and Ann White further enhances the space with her prints. We are pleased to welcome back Linda Becker with her detailed work in oils.

There”s an all new show in the Linda Carpenter Gallery with a collection of work by 10-year-old Nolani Urquiza who is under the tutelage of Pat Hopper. An artist in her own right, Pat Hopper has been working with young artists for over thirty years. Pat Hambrick”s Clear Lake High School students show their artistic talents in a well displayed collection of photography.

While in the Student Gallery, you can browse our ever changing merchandise in the Gallery”s Gift Shop. To further enhance the evening festivities, visit with Livia as she pours the wines of her families” wines of Rosa d” Oro Vineyards. Browse the work of local artists in our Gift Shop as you sample finger food, meet the featured artists and mingle with other artists and art lovers.
