LAKE COUNTY–Air quality is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups today, according to Lake County Air Pollution Control Officer Bob Reynolds. Northwest winds are expected through Thursday, and will bring smoke from the Mendocino Lightning Complex. Lake County remains under an excessive heat warning, according to the National Weather Service, and is also under a hazardous weather outlook and a red flag warning, meaning very hot and dry conditions are expected with poor overnight recoveries.
