Bass nets fisherman a $10,000 jackpot at Konocti Vista
Shaun Bailey of Lake Havasu City in Arizona had a pretty good day on Clear Lake even if he brought only one bass to the weight scales during the Heavyweight Bass Class on Friday at Konocti Vista Casino, Resort and Marina. That one fish, which weighed 9.01 pounds, earned Bailey a $10,000 payday in the winner-take-all event. Fifty-one fishermen from throughout the United States and as far away as Japan competed in the event, which had a $200 entry fee. See Sports for more details and photos.
