The Lake County Community Co-Op buyers” club received its first shipment of produce on Thursday, July 10.
A “purist” box, sourced from local and regional farms, costs $16 apiece and a fruit-and-vegetable distributor box costs $9 apiece.
Membership in the buying club is $24 per year, which can be paid in installments of $2 per month.
Make check or money order payable to “LCC Co-op” for the $24 annual membership and mail to Lake County Community Co-Op, P.O. Box 6306, Clearlake, CA 95422-6306.
Non-members are also welcome to place an order through the buying club. You can pay for your membership at the time of pick-up.
