NICE ? A head-on collision Sunday morning killed two passengers and injured both drivers, according to California Highway Patrol reports. Clearlake resident Arne Nordh, 86, died Monday of his injuries and Marguerite Feio, 81, died Sunday. Mike Whitfield, 38, of Corralitos, suffered major injuries including a crushed chest and was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. CHP officer Adam Garcia said responding officers initially believed 18-year-old Taylor Fales of Red Bluff had fallen asleep while driving a 2000 Tacoma truck east on Highway 20. The incident remained under investigation Monday.
