Once more as I open to the editorial page all I see is unremitting baseless vitriol. Why has the Media”s and Democratic Party has sunk to such low levels? Could it be because there is no real adverse things to report about? Governor Sarah Palin certainly was a surprise choice by Senator John S. McCain, but it was not dishonest.
The Senator had ever right to choose a running mate that he felt would best serve this country both as Vice-President and in the event of his death by assassination, accident or other untimely means step up to the post of Commander -in -Chief . A post she has already been thrust into in a smaller way by being the Governor of the State of Alaska.
Sarah Palin”s various elected and civilian jobs have all included Management skills. Governor Palin like her running mate Senator John McCain, has not let party affiliation stand in the way of doing what is right by her constituents and the United States at large. The media dwelling on inconsequential salacious gossip from ignorant bloggers, many of whom live at home with no real job or life of their own ,in order to chant garbage in a pathetic attempt to somehow make up for their own inadequacies.
The real facts are available if you chose to seek them out. The Democrats portray the United States as in dire straits. Poverty struck on the verge of collapse. Hardly the true picture when one checks out the facts. Unemployment is no where near Depression era levels, as a matter of fact they are quite low by any standards.
They would improve if the Democrats would cease blocking legislation to allow more drilling for oil (jobs related to are very many). Could it be better? Of course , but not by increasing taxes there by reducing available capital. The Democrats want to create more government. Is that what you want? Government regulating ever aspect of your life?
Not me, the less government the better! The Constitution of the United States spell out very succinctly what the Federal Government should regulate. Senator McCain has said that he will appoint strict Constitutionalist to fill any vacancies on the Supreme Court. I will vote for him just on that alone. Our country has for too long been contorted by an activist Judiciary. Just think of ballot measures on issues like, Marriage, border control, illegal immigration, just to name a few that were overturned by radical judges this despite overwhelming pluralities by voters at the ballot box.
