WILLITS — Willits made two first-half goals stand up in shutting out the Lower Lake Trojans 2-0 in a non-league varsity boys” soccer game on Tuesday in Willits.
“We didn”t have a whole lot of shots on goal,” Lower Lake coach Scott Hopkins said. “We didn”t generate much offense.”
One player on each team received a red card during the physical contest.
The Trojans, now 1-1 on the season, return home Monday to play Rincon Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m.
