UPDATED:

A recent letter writer described allegations of wrong doers in the Clinton years. The writer said nothing about the criminal activity in the Bush arena. So much for the history book.

Come November, all voters should focus on the future, and base their final decision on who is best qualified to reverse the current path of our beloved country. Ignore all polls. Some Democratic countries ban polls. Ignore the stupid cartoons and idiotic insults to any candidate. Never be afraid to cross party lines, if the one you choose is not a candidate of your registration.

My voting record for a half century, has been just about 50-50 for president and governor. My selection has always been based on who is the best candidate for all Americans.

My final decision in this election will only be made after all the debates.

All I have heard to date, is, bragging about personal traits, bashing the opponents, and change, change, change. I will be listening intently to their realistic strategies for changes of our domestic and foreign policies.

Do they intend to appoint cabinet members of the highest standards, and pledge to listen to their expertise, before ever making a final decision?

This is a gross failure of the current President. Finally, ask yourself two questions.

Is my family better off today than eight years ago? This question was asked by Ronald Reagan in his initial campaign.

The second question to ask yourself, is, our country safer today than eight years ago?
