WILLITS — Amely Ballesteros and Jasmine Flores each scored goals and the Clear Lake Cardinals tied the Willits Wolverines 2-2 in junior varsity girls” soccer action on Thursday at Willits.
“It”s a real young team, only three returning players,” Clear Lake coach Alice Holmes said of the Cardinals.
Alyssa O”Donnell assisted on Ballesteros” goal. Flores” score came on a penalty kick.
Clear Lake (0-1-3) hosts Fort Bragg next Thursday.
