Little did I know my last letter (Record-Bee, Sept. 10) would unleash the far left vitriol that has inundated the letters to the editor on an almost daily basis. One letter spouted reams of statistics about unemployment rates, with the intention of buttressing up the far left belief that the “sky is falling” , my exact words were: “Unemployment levels are no where near Depression era levels,” hardly a world shaking statement, but non the less true.

The writer of that piece also graciously agreed with me that much of what was being reported as fact was in fact the ramblings of bloggers many of whom live at home, some in Mom and Dad”s basements playing video games and spreading biased fact less gossip. Her reply was they were there because they couldn”t find jobs.

I guess they can”t find jobs because they were raised with the “progressive” view that the government should take care of them and no job that made them work with their hands was worthy of them. Tell that to the hardworking immigrants legal and illegal that will toil at any job available.

In today”s letter to the editor we find another rambling disjointed rant that allegedly lay the blame squarely on Senator McCain”s shoulders, never mind all the Democrats that were at the helm of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and the oversite committees chaired by Democrats. They are all without blame!

Only John McCain is the reason we are in the financial melt down we are experiencing. How can any of you far left morons live with yourselves? It is all George Bush”s fault. Now it is all John Mc Cain”s fault. Do you think sane people believe what you keep ranting?

I will not dignify the attacks on Sarah Palin ? 80% favorable rating means nothing ? Why? ? Because Alaskans are self-reliant breed, who work hard and don”t whine like the progressives in the lower 48? The slanders you repeated in your letters are indicative of your character and I wonder just how long you would have lasted in the Hanoi Hilton?

I am sick of all the cowards that enjoy the blessings of this great Country.
