LAKE COUNTY — “Creative Expressions” is seeking original poems and stories by local writers age 18 and younger for publication in the Lake County Record-Bee. Poems and stories of any kind or theme are welcome.
Selected works will appear on Oct. 24 in the weekend edition of the Lake County Record-Bee, on page B-1.
Send your original story or poem in the body of an e-mail to poetryshared@yahoo.com with “CE Youth Submission” in the subject line. The poem or story may not be longer than 400 words. Please include in your e-mail: your name, age and the town you live in. Submissions must be received by Oct. 8, 2008.
Organizers suggest that next to your name, type an open parentheses, then a C, then close parentheses: (C) followed by the year (2008) to copyright your work.
Note: If your work is published, Lake County Publishing will reserve the right to reprint it, without compensation, in any or all of its print or online media. All other copyright reverts to author upon publication.
