LAKE COUNTY – Lake County”s local candidates for city and county offices will face the voters and each other in a series of candidate forums throughout the county this week.
Tonight, in Lakeport, the Lakeport Regional Chamber is sponsoring a Lakeport City Council Meet the Candidate Night at 6:30 p.m. Lakeport City Council Chambers.
All six Lakeport candidates are expected to be in attendance. The city council chambers are located in City Hall at 225 Park St. in Lakeport.
Wednesday, Oct. 1, the two candidates vying for District 1 Lake County Supervisor, James Comstock and Suzanne LaFaver, will meet and debate at the Calpine Visitor Center in Middletown with a 6:30 p.m. starting time.
The Calpine Visitor Center is located at 15500 Central Park Rd.
Thursday, Oct. 2, the Clearlake City Council candidates forum will be held at the United Methodist Church on 14521 Pearl Ave. at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Oct 2, will also feature another debate with the District 1 Supervisor candidates, Comstock and LaFaver at at the Main Street Grill in Clearlake at 7 a.m.
Comstock and LaFaver are also set to meet in a public forum on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Lower Lake Community Center with a scheduled start at 6:30 p.m.
