KELSEYVILLE — Coach Donelle McCallister doesn”t think the Kelseyville Knights have played their best volleyball of the season just yet.
Considering how well her squad has played of late, that”s a scary thought.
Kelseyville needed only three games to put away the Cloverdale Eagles 25-16, 29-27, 25-19 in North Central League I interlock varsity volleyball action on Thursday night in Kelseyville.
Kaitlyn Goff”s nine kills powered the Knights, but two other players were also instrumental in the victory, according to McCallister.
Libero Sarah Johnson had 16 digs and sophomore opposite hitter Chelsea DeJohn added two kills and one ace.
“She had no hitting errors and no serving errors,” McCallister said of DeJohn. “She was real consistent. She”s just starting to really pick up.”
