LAKEPORT — Paula Samonte and Suite Jazz appear at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre, 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport.

The concert also features Richard Cooper (bass/piano), James “Jimmy” Gallagher (drums) and special guest Tom Aiken (piano).
Paula Samonte & Suite Jazz will open the show in Lakeport with music specifically chosen for an upcoming performance in Italy.
The second half of the Lakeport program will be filled with many familiar jazzy tunes featuring Tom Aiken on piano. Aiken is a highly respected music teacher at Kelseyville High School and is quite a soloist as well.
Samonte and Aiken have performed together as a duo and as part of the Ukiah Symphony, Mendocino College Jazz Orchestra, Lake County Symphony and the Starlite Big Band.
