Early this year I predicted in one of my letters, that George Bush would be involved in dropping oil and pump prices beginning about four months prior to the election. The motive would be to entice voters to keep a Republican in the Oval Office. I believe oil company CEO”s and OPEC are bosom buddies and have secret meetings to control oil and pump prices. And I believe Bush is in cahoots with them.
I believe Bush conspired with oil CEO”s to gouge Americans at the pump for the past couple of years, resulting in record oil company profits. The CEO”s don”t give a hoot if barrell prices rise to $300.00 a barrell, because they merely pass off their oil costs to you and I, the consumers. IF you question my logic, why has this President done absolutely nothing during his reign to go after alternative fuels?
Again, if you do not believe my logic, then explain why oil and pump prices did in fact start dropping at the very beginning of summer. Early August, which as I predicted, was four months to November fourth. This did not happen in August of 2007. Some folks explain, oil and pump prices have dropped because our reduced consumption. Excuse me. Our consumption of gasoline has dropped a mere ten percent. Oil has dropped 60% and pump prices 40%. Oil CEO”s and OPEC do not want a Democrat in the Oval Office, and a Democratic controlled Congress.
Finally, I hope our future government will never again give a president the decision making power that this government gave Bush. He has acted more like a dictator than a president for the people. Today”s national commentary in the media, stated Arlen Specter angrily accused Bush of dictatorial behavior. This man is a high ranking Republican.
