LAKEPORT — Stand back! Here comes “Cinderella”! Rehearsals are under way for this wonderful musical comedy, jointly produced by the Mendocino College Drama Department and The Soper-Reese Community Theatre in association with Lake County Theatre Company. The irrepressable Carol Dobusch is directing!
“Cinderella” is a new, unique, musical comedy, a hysterically funny slant on an old time, favorite fairytail which is different than any version you have seen before! Words and and lyrics are by Kate Hawley, music by Gregg Coffin and original concept by Paul Whiman.
“Cinderella” will be performed at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 5,6,12 and 13; and at 2 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 7 and 14; at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre in Lakeport.
