Was Obama really born in the United States?
The “Man without a County” theme has taken several interesting forms in literature, but truth is far stranger than fiction and the man about to become the most powerful in the world is in such a plot.
Attorney Phillip J. Berg brought a private suit against Barack H. Obama to produce a valid Hawaiian birth certificate proving he was born in this country as our Constitution requires. The demand for the document was made on September 15, 2008 and would have to be responded to within 30 days or Obama would forfeit. The day came and went with no response from Mr. Obama.
The Obama campaign had responded to a similar request from the NewsMax organization with a document looking strangely like a stationary store “Good Employee” award. NewsMax published it with an authentic Hawaiian birth certificate of that time and it shows the Obama document is a fake.
U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was “too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters.”
This is clearly a nonsense argument under our Constitution which says every citizen is “equal in the eyes of the law.” How can anyone oppose a request for the production of legal documents in such a case? One who is not a natural born citizen is not qualified to serve as our President under the Constitution.
Between 2 and 3 AM, Saturday, October 25 on KGO San Francisco, Democrat operative and talk show host John Rothmann casually dropped, “this suit has been dismissed” when the official announcement was not made public for another 14 hours!
Apparently Judge Surrick conspired to torpedo this action and announced it to party apparatchiks. This must be at least a felony and win, lose or draw should be prosecuted to maintain the integrity of our elections.
