CLEARLAKE ? Clearlake City Hall will be open for public viewing of election results Tuesday night following the closing of polls.

City Clerk Melissa Swanson said she expects access to become available for the public at approximately 9 p.m. after poll officials secure ballots and vacate the facility.

South county residents have several decisions facing them this election with regard to local representation.

There are six candidates vying for three open seats on the Clearlake City Council. Incumbents Curt Giambruno, Joyce Overton and Judy Thein have been joined by newcomers Estella Creel, James Reed and Bill Shields.

Four candidates are vying for two open seats on the Konocti Unified School District Board of Trustees including incumbents Henry “Hank” Montgomery and Mary Silva and newcomers Gigi Mattos and Lynda Robinson.

In the race for District 1 County Supervisor are James Comstock and Susanne La Faver.

Candidates seeking to represent Yuba Community College District Trustee Area No. 4 include incumbent Mark Bredt and newcomer Benjamin Pearson.
