We ask that you not raise our taxes and cut education after hiring thousands of new CHP officers last year. We the people whom elected you and recalled Gray Davis believe that over-policing and government have become far too large and expensive.
We must avoid the continued progression of this great state towards an unaffordable bankrupt police state. Thomas Jefferson once stated: “When too much freedom is sacrificed in the name of security both are lost”.
Cut spending, down size government and eliminate waste instead.
