LAKE COUNTY – A collaborative effort between Lake County Record-Bee, the Lakeport Rotary Club, Brunos Shop Smart, Umpqua banks, Westamerica banks, Lake Family Resource Center and Lake County Community Action Agency provides Christmas baskets to those in need during the holidays in Lake County.
The Christmas Basket Program is in its 24th year. A total of 1,200 baskets will be distributed, 600 to the North Shore and 600 to the South Shore.
Anyone wishing to contribute to the Christmas basket program may bring or mail contributions in to any branch of Umpqua banks. Checks should be written out to Lake County Christmas Fund. Your donation and holiday message will be noted in both the Lake County Record-Bee as well as the Clear Lake Observer*American. Please look for the nutcracker symbol for information relating to the program.
