ESPARTO — Freshmen Steven Edwards and Kyle Donald combined for 33 points as Clear Lake beat Esparto 58-40 in a non-league junior varsity boys” basketball game on Tuesday night in Esparto.
Edwards led the Cardinals with 19 points in their season opener.
“I”ve got a good bunch of kids,” Clear Lake coach Jeremy Hopkins said.
