At its Tuesday, Dec. 16, meeting, the City of Clearlake Planning Commission is scheduled to continue its public hearing on the Provinsalia Golf Community. The meeting will be called to order at 6 p.m. in City Council chambers.
Lake County Resort Partners proposes to build the Provinsalia Golf Community east of South Dam Road. Items of discussion include the commission”s recommendations to the Clearlake City Council:
* Whether to certify if a final Environmental Impact Report has been completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act;
* Whether to change the General Plan land-use designation from “Managed Development — Resource Protection” to “Specific Plan;” and
* Whether to adopt the “Draft Provinsalia Specific Plan.”
Other items on the agenda include approval of a use-permit application by Robert and Dena Maninger for developing a motorcycle apparel, accessories, parts and minor repair shop at 14883 Lakeshore Drive; and consideration of a request by Robert Steen for approval of an extension of the Tentative Subdivision Map for 2915 Robin Lane.
The agenda was posted Thursday, Dec. 11, at City Hall. The planning commission typically meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays; please watch for agendas or notices of cancellation to be posted at City Hall, 72 hours in advance.
